Andy Murray came back to his best this week, managing to impose itself on the Shanghai Masters 1000 which ended on Sunday.

Murray overcame more easily than expected to Swiss Roger Federer, third seed, by an aggregate score of 6-3 and 6-2.

The British player and seems to have taken the mold to the Swiss player, who has won 8 of 13 meetings.

The world No. 4 in Shanghai won the second title this season, after obtaining the Toronto in August, and 16th of his career.

This victory will not let you climb up positions in the ranking, as they remain in fourth place, but if you make the Swiss Roger Federer, who on Monday will be world number 2.

In Saturday’s semifinals, Federer defeated Novak Djokovic had one of its fiercest rivals, snatching the second position.
