Valentino Rossi – 1’37 .382 (82 laps)
“It was good as new updates have improved the bike immediately. The bike was more sensitive to changes in the front, and this has facilitated the work with the set-up. I’ve noticed as soon as I uploaded the bike and within hours we have made steady progress. We also have an engine power delivery slightly softer than I liked it. Let’s start using it when the rotation schedule allows. I liked the Bridgestone tires has given us to try, I found very good. Of course, the other riders have also made great progress, and today is less positive distance from the front. Anyway, all that we Ducati technicians has brought to function and that gives us confidence.” Read the rest of this entry »
The stark reality of MotoGP
After a couple of races more or less fun, now we are back to the stark reality of MotoGP. Boredom and more boredom, broken only by Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden in the closing laps. But the way things are, Casey Stoner has returned to be eventful and intractable in their home in Australia Grand Prix at Phillip Island and has swept the track each and every one of his rivals without any respite. Gets his third victory of the season and is the fourth consecutive year to win at this track.
Behind the Australian, has placed the new MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo, I was pleasantly surprised and appears to have relaxed too much. You tried at all times keep the pulse of Casey even if in the distance, and have not given up throughout the race. We are closing the podium with Valentino Rossi after the bad training that has taken place this weekend, has gotten a pretty decent result.
The race has had a long history, and only lasted what it took for the lights to go out, when Casey shot and put out by land. Nobody has seen this guy’s hair. Soon also placed second Lorenzo, trying, unsuccessfully, to follow the trail of Stoner. So, only encouraged us a little comeback Rossi, who made a horrible exit was placed in ninth position and he had to paddle upstream, but this time has not yet passed the third place. The fact that the Italian has left us a bunch of overtaking and best of the race has been starring alongside Nicky Hayden.
And it seemed that Vale was going to escape the American just fun, but nothing is further from reality, as Nicky has been attached to the wheel of Rossi at all times. And just when I was two laps, Hayden gave a full-fledged hack Valentino, but of course it was not going to sit still, so in the last lap it back, again almost touching both in action. Since then, Nicky has not seen the hole and finished fourth. Not bad that fight between teammates future Ducati and Valentino can rest easy, because the Ducati ride a great time.
