Bridgestone Bridgestone full use of the official training held at the Estoril circuit on Monday after the race. The conditions for these tests were good, much better than during the weekend of Grand Prix. During the night after only a light drizzle fell and the track was much cleaner. Marco Simoncelli signed the fastest lap of the Test, a record 0.7 seconds under the lap record, ahead of Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner. We brought a new front tire and two new rear tires for testing, in preparation for the new engine rules for next year.

“I acknowledge the support of all the teams and drivers for taking the time to test the tires and provide valuable information, and in particular, to Casey, who despite still suffering back pain has devoted the afternoon to run with proof tires “said Ubukata. “Feedback from drivers has been positive, especially for new rear tires, so we can say that we have identified the direction to follow in the tire development for the forthcoming Test and was preparing for the 1000cc will good.
