View 2011 Cricket World Cup with full of enthusiasm
Cricket World Cup is the largest international competition for one-day cricket around the world. The occasion was organized by the sport’s governing body, the ICC and has been contested by all Test playing Nations and the United Nations qualifiers. Cricket World Cup is the third largest and most watched soccer event after the World Cup and Summer Olympics. There are five teams won the title of World Cup cricket. The Australian team has won four titles, with two title West Indies and India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have won every title. The tournament is held every four years by the ICC.

A sport little known in Panama: Cricket
Incredible, but true! Cricket was one of the first sports to develop in our country.
Bat is a sport that is played between two teams of 11 members each. It is played much like baseball in the sense that the player on a team trying to get hits and runs, while the other team has to stop. The playing field is an oval of grass and no smaller than one soccer field. In the center of the court is a rectangle measuring 20.12 meters long and 3.4 meters wide. That field is called pitch and is where most of the game play, and that is where one team throws the ball and the opposing team’s batting. The elements are specific to the cricket ball that is 6 inches in diameter and is lined with leather, the bat, that unlike baseball, is not round but flattened, with a meter long and 10.8 inches wide, and the wickets, which are gates located at the center of the field in the two launch area ends and batting.
