Pau Gasol perfect match, Victory for the Lakers
Catalan Pau Gasol played a superb game against the Golden State Warriors, Staples Center cheered retiring on Sunday night.
The Lakers reached win number 12 this season (12-2), and are the third best team in the regular season, having passed by 117 to 89 to the Warriors.
Starting at full speed the Lakers, who won the first quarter by 37 to 21. At the end of break the gap had extended to 28 points (69-41).
Pau had a perfect night, not failing any launch, October 10 from the field and 8 of 8 from free, the sixth player in team history to get perfect numbers.
The Sant Boi finished with 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks in just 30 minutes on court. After the huge display with a good cushion over his rivals, Phil Jackson replaced Pau to receive the ovation of the night.
Also played an outstanding performance in the Lakers team Kobe Bryant (20 points), Lamar Odom (15) and Brown (17).
The Raptors bonded their third straight win, this time at home for 102 to 101 against the Boston Celtics in a big game.
Italian Andrea Bargnani is demonstrating great form, and with 29 points led the Canadian team’s victory, which again had a very good game Spanish Jose Manuel Calderon.
Reclaiming the title, the Spanish responded with 11 points and 2 assists in 33 minutes on court, also Johnson (17 points) and Weems (16) did a very good game with the Raptors.
