The Jazz pulled caste to endorse the third loss to Lakers
Embedded Los Angeles Lakers to their third defeat of the season in the NBA, dropping by 102 to 96 in house of the Utah Jazz in a match that Phil Jackson’s pupils seemed to have it controlled at the end.
The Lakers opened up a gap of 16 points in the first quarter (33-17), thanks to a superb work of Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant, and even at the beginning of the second half it was as high as 19 points.
But little by little, the Jazz began to improve in defense and attack, and to break the distance was reduced to only 4 points (46-50).
With a spectacular job of Deron Williams (29 points) and Al Jefferson (20), the Jazz were able to match the meeting, although the absence of 2 minutes and means to the end the difference was 5 points for the Lakers (91 – 96).
The great defense that held the Jazz in the final stretch of the game, eventually decant the duel in his favor. The hosts won 11-0 in a partial closure of the match against a Lakers who fell in the final stretch, and a Kobe that ran out of goal.
Bryant also was the best of his team with 31 points, accompanied as always a great Pau Gasol (21 points and 11 rebounds) and Lamar Odom (16 points and 10 rebounds).
Third defeat of the Lakers also hold the second best season record (13-3), behind the San Antonio Spurs (13-2).
The Spurs just their second defeat embedded this morning, falling at home by 103 to 94 against the Dallas Mavericks, that the hand of an exceptional Dirk Nowitzki (26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists), managed to defeat Spurs carrying a 12 wins in a row.
